The Coach House at Mapperton presents a unique and stylish venue for private parties and business functions.
Built in 1670 and Grade 1 listed, The Coach House has recently undergone a complete renovation yet retains its timeless charm with exposed stonework, lath and plaster surfaces and full height ceilings with original trusses and cross-beams.
A new biomass heating system ensures plenty of warmth on colder days, while a 4K projector, huge dropdown screen, 8 speaker sound system and controllable lighting brings the venue in the the 21st century.
Whether you are seeking an unforgettable setting for a birthday celebration or family party, privacy for a formal meeting with work colleagues, or sanctuary for a “stop the clock” team building day, we have the location, space, and state-of-the-art facilities to suit.
Our spacious main room seats up to 120 people, and can accommodate up to 200 standing for other functions, with adaptable layout options. Alongside the main space is a second large room which contains a fully-stocked & licensed bar, as well as an area for guests seeking a break from the festivities.
Our catering team can meet all your food and beverage needs, from sandwiches and snacks to a three course meal, all with delicious locally-sourced ingredients.
We also provide outdoor seating and a lawn area, for milder months or more hardy guests.
